So had our Triton out this last weekend. That makes the third trip in 2.5 months. This was the first time to cook a lot in the kitchen. While frying some bacon and sausage Sunday morning, I had the exhaust fan on and was just having a good ol time cooking. Then I noticed it getting a little smokey inside
, I figured oh well, I have the exhaust fan on. Then the smoke alarm went off
. After convincing wife that I was not burning the trailer down, we got windows and vents opened up and aired it out
. It was then I noticed that there was air coming down out of the stove exhaust fan. And after turning it off and on a couple of times, I noticed that it was blowing air at the stove, not away
. Pulled the fan and motor down, reversed wiring, and now it works like a champ! Bad thing is, it was wired backwards when the motor was put together, as the wires were soldered on backwards.
Long story short, I can no longer pick on my wife for cooking with the smoke alarm as her timer
