Complete motive system replacement? What is it?

So I dropped the trailer off last week to have about a dozen little quirky things fixed (the main one being the wiring on the tv)

I mentioned to them the slide out seems a little quirky sometimes but still works. He told me today that it will require a complete motive system replacement and takes about 3 days.

Does anyone know what that is? I'm assuming it has something to do with the actual process of opening and closing.

Just curious.

Thanks,

Mark

Sounds like your getting all new. I had to search it, you got my curiosity up.

Thanks, I was going to google it tonight, just hadn't had a chance. The slide-outs work, just get in a little bind once in a while. I wonder why it needs replacing. Oh well, that's what warranty is for.

While it's in there, I'm going to see if I can get them to order a kitchenette and install it instead of that long ass couch we have in there.

Unless there just talking about "brain" and how to keep it synced. But what I read refered to mechanical. Good luck!

Keystone RV has made some recent discoveries with regard to the slide system and the parts that have failed and I am very confident that we can resolve.

This was included in an email from Keystone yesterday. Mine is jacked up again following repairs six months ago. 60 miles on the repair and in/out operation 4 1/2 times.
