Bird Infestation Prevention

Turns out birds can get into the trailer from the pin box area. Now I have a nest in my trailer and all of the accompanying pleasantries that go along with it. They got in through the hole where the trailer brake wiring is routed through. The whole front cap is going to have to come off to gain access. I would advise everyone to install a Bird barrier before it's too late.

I put wire cloth over the big opening and gorilla tape over the smaller openings. They still got in.

Learned this same lesson with my first fifth wheel. I have precut wire screens I made to fit that I install when we come home from camping trips.

Also, as weird as it may sound, I found that aftershave/cologne keeps birds away - apparently, they can't stand the smell. Had a bird that would perch on my ladder and hammer away at his reflection in the camper, so read online about the cologne and no more birds on my ladder. LOL
