Beware!

Just had this issue right before our latest trip and thought would let you all know! I opened the basement door and it felt a little strange. I then noticed the whole door frame was falling out!

Really was not a big deal because I caught it before it was flying down the road. It appeared the out of the two screws they used to install the door, I repeat TWO screws, one was broken. This leaving only one screw and caulk holding a 3' door in place.

It really is not noticeable when open because the door covers the area that starts to separate. I also noticed the frame was not caulked to the body, just the outside edge. I caulked the inside flange, pressed the frame in and screwed the inside flange all the way around. If I did not catch this it is very possible that wind while driving would have pulled that door all the way out.

More quality work from Dutchmen/Keystone. I'll be checking on my doors tomorrow.
