Auto Leveling system

Hello All,

Picked up a new 2016 Voltage yesterday. The tech showed me how to operate the level system, but I forgot how to just raise and lower the front landing jacks.

I hit buttons until it went up but now think I might have messed it up as I went manual with the system. Can I just cut the power to the system and it automatically reset? My second question is does anyone know how to just raise the front landing gear when I don't totally level the coach i.e. just dropping and picking up the coach?

Thank you,
Kevin

To enable only the landing gear push and hold the "front" button. To retract, touch the retract button (you'll see the light by the button go on) then, push and hold the "front" button until retracted. Use the auto level function when tow vehicle is unhitched and moved away from the trailer.

Congratulations! Just go to manual and hit the quadrant button that says front jacks. It will drop just the front ones. They should have given you an LCI manual which is pretty good for operations. Also, YouTube has a short video that explains everything as well. Just search LCI hydraulic jacks.

Thanks...I hit different buttons until I was able to get them up.

Think I hit the manual function to get them to retract. Going to try to cut the power to the coach via the battery and see if it will reset so that I can follow the instructions for the auto level the way the technician taught me.

Got it all worked out. Problem was that the first step didn't say "jacks up" it said jacks down. Just continued the process and all worked out perfectly. Thanks all

We have the auto-leveling kit after trading in our old one with the regular feet in the front. When I brought the new rig home to do some work on it I could not get it to level in the driveway. The old camper didn't have an issue but it seems the auto-leveling doesn't have quite the reach. It is okay to put some blocks under the front feet to gain some height? I put about 12 inches worth of wood under them but it seems the feet are angled out a bit (probably for stability). It really seemed to be hard on the shaft, almost looked like it was bending.

I ended up parking it out in the circle (which I'm sure the neighbors loved). I would really like to park it in the driveway but need it level due to the refrigerator. Any tips on auto-level on a slope?

As long as it is strong and stable, there is nothing wrong or unsafe about putting dunnage under your stabilizers/jacks. Done all the time. Just make sure it is wide enough and thick enough so as not to slip or slide off accidentally.

My daughters got me a new phone and I was playing around with the apps and found it had a built in level as part of the compass.

This could come in handy if you ever need to calibrate your auto level or manually level the coach. Last time I used a carpenters bubble level and went back and forth several times to get it set. This iPhone level is surprisingly accurate and easy to use.

Now if I can just figure out how to use Tapatalk???
