Auto Level???

Only our second outing with the 2014 Epic 3800. This time to Taylor Park, Colorado.

Got the trailer disconnected, set up, and Auto Leveled.

Getting things organized in the Living Area and wife notices that the refrigerator right side doors won't stay open, real PITA.

So I get the 24" level from the truck, and sure enough, its about a third of a bubble low at the front.

So I go to the Lippert panel and retract the rear jacks a bit, then extend the front jacks a bit, then push the Auto Level button again. Trailer self levels, display reads "success".

Check the level and again, its off by a third of bubble, low at the front.

Any one else had this experience or have suggestions?

Wondering if the Auto Level can be calibrated?

Thanks,

Pirate

I believe this might help you

Electric Leveling - Leveling & Stabilization - Customer Support

Go to your controller, and there should be a link to the manual that should tell you how calibrate. It is called 'zero point set.'

macman,

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately here in Taylor Park, CO we seem to have poor internet due to the number of people using their Verizon Hot Spot.

Can you help me figure out how to determine if I have the 2.0 or 3.0 controller?

Nothing in all the stuff we got with the trailer, and to slow a connection to search the web.

Sigh...may just be stuck for the next 10 days.

Thanks again,

Pirate

Pirate, do it manually for now and go by your 24" level. Mess with the auto cal. at home and enjoy the ten days. If by chance you need help with that message me.

Well I looked at the web and it looks like the ground 2 is for the 4 and 6 pt jacks that are the round jacks only . The ground 3 are for 4 pt jacks that are round with a flat plate mounted to it . Let me know and I will try to help as much as I can .
