Anyone know what this is?

When we picked up our Voltage V 3105, there were various bits and pieces. Some of the items seem to be related to the Sony sound system, a faceplate storage box, a bracket or two.

Also included is a small panel with a rotary switch, labeled min - max, a power indicator, and a flat network like cable. Any idea what this is? Is it something for the stereo? We have the Sony speaker upgrade, if that makes a difference.

Do you have exterior speakers? Maybe they forgot to hook up the outdoor control for them. Just a guess.

We do have the exterior speakers. They are controlled from a switch, one switch each for the internal and external speakers on/off. Volume is controlled by Sony head unit. If we had gotten the manuals for everything, that might explain it, but they were all missing.

I'm just speculating that this is related to the sound system. It may be for something else. Hoping someone knows exactly what it is for.

try searching google for your model sound system. then you should be able to find a manual for it.

I have a similar switch on my amp in the truck. Mine hooks to the amp with the plug and controls the bass from the subs.
Not sure if you have an external amp or not.
good luck.
