Another question for Voltage 3705 Owners

Anyone know of the Voltage 3705 is rated for short bed trucks? My 2017 F250 has a short box...

First thing I'd do is get a truck rated to handle the hitch weight of this trailer. The specs say 2800 pounds but the real world will be 3000 or over. What is the payload rating of your truck? I doubt there is an F-250 out there with 3000 to 3500 pounds of payload (remember, you gotta carry people and stuff and that adds to the payload). FYI my V-3600 has a scaled hitch weight of 3500 pounds.

Short bed is not the issue. What can YOUR specific truck carry? Find the sticker on the drivers door. If aftermarket additions have been made, you must account for their weight also. Gear, people, dogs, purses also count.

No expert on runn8ng the numbers, but I doubt a 250 will be satisfactory for that 5th wheel.
