Yes sir!!!... I can’t stand it being dirty before a trip... plus she gets the treatment every December.! It’s going on 5 years old and still looks new.

Bar keepers friend and magic eraser sponge mop and a brush, waxed with 5 coats of zep floor wax because fiberglass was starting to chalk when I bought the unit and buffing it out only lasted 1-2 months so I figured I’d give it a shot and it works much better than I could have ever imagined.

I was just watching videos on using floor wax on an rv. How well does it hold up. I have been doing it the hard way with normal auto wax 2 times a year since I got mine and it takes almost all day and I am beat when done. The floor wax looked like an easier way of doing it. Any tips to pass on?

Wrap a microfiber cloth around a cheap sponge mop, you will want an extended handle for the height, do not apply in direct sun light as it will dry way to fast give it at least 30 min between coats...apply at least 5 thin coats..too thick and it will run and the drip will dry in the shape of..well a drip.. lol.. make sure it’s the unit is the cleanest it has ever been, every stain or mark will be under 5 or more coats of acrylic polish... holds up very very well. Recoat with 2 coats every year.

Mine weren’t too bad.. but I did clean with bar keepers friend and a magic eraser... as a matter of fact cleaned the entire RV this way before application of polish.

You are correct, it looks like new...Maintenance is the key and you prove it by the looks of the unit.. Another good thing is (seeing you are from Seffner) we do not have to put up with snow. Good Luck and Happy Camping
