AC May have died today.

OK, here is my problem.

To start with I have been running the air conditioning in my toy hauler almost non stop for the past four months. I know. That's allot.

I had been impressed at how well everything had been staying cool. It was 108 degress out today and the trailer was holding 83 degresses in the main living area. The bedroom and garage units were also running and they were holding in the low 70's.

I went out to the trailer tonight and the main living area was warm. No cold air coming from the the AC. I turned it off and let it sit a few minutes then turned it back on Auto. It started blowing cool air again but only for about 2 minutes. Then I heard a grown come from the AC unit. The compresser kicked off. It did this several times with several re-starts. Perhaps I just wore it out.

I decided to let it rest overnight and see what happens in the morning.

Does anyone have an idea as to what is going on?

Thanks
Arlan

Not a function of running it a lot. I leave mine on during the summer months here in SC while plugged in the back yard. Keeps the inside cool and dry. Sounds like plain old AC fail, perhaps a Freon leak, perhaps something else. Regardless, time to call a pro.
