AC Fan help

2013 voltage 3005

Lately, when I start my generator, and turn on the heat. the AC fan (fan only) comes on along with the furnace!

It's rather annoying, it makes the living space actually feel colder! **Note: the ac is not on, just the fan**
What would be causing this?

Thanks

Change the FAN setting on your thermostat to AUTO. That should stop it.

If the FAN is set to either HIGH, MED, or LOW... it will blow whenever any setting is activated.

My PDI guy covered that on our walk around. He gets lots of calls for that item.

Until you get it adjusted, just turn off the Air, by turning off the breaker,

I had the same thing happen to me when I first got mine and all I had to do is adjust the fan setting on the thermostat to auto and it works fine.
