A/C Issue

I have a Voltage 3005 with 2 A/C's. Main cabin A/C is functioning fine....but bedroom A/C is not coming on. I'm able to manipulate settings for Zone 2 with thermostat, but nothing happens with unit. Thermostat is obviously working with other A/C, breakers for both A/C's are not tripped. Any advice/assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully, hopefully you don't have the problem I had.

A mouse got in the ceiling and ate the communication wire that runs from the front A/C to the thermostat and rear A/C.

I found this out while trouble shooting the wires up there. I pulled on the com wire and came up with the butt end of it.

Long story short, I had to replace a working unit with a new unit that had the controls on board.

Ouch !!! I think that I may have found the problem....the temp sensor in the bedroom is reading over 10 degrees lower than it should. although the temp in the bedroom is in the toasty high 70's, the sensor is showing the internal temp in that zone in the mid 60's. I cranked the thermostat down to 60 and it kicked on. I guess I should have looked at that before my post !! I'm going to replace the sensor and see what happens.

I was tired of the bedroom sensor being 3 deg cooler and not working in conjunction with the main unit in the living room so I changed a few dip switches and both units run on zone 1. Best thing I did. If I don’t want the bedroom unit to run for some reason I turn the breaker off to the unit. The thermostat is smart enough to stage the units on one at a time also.
