50 amp cord tightening ring

We have a Voltage 3605 and the tightening ring on the 50 amp electrical cord is broken so that we can't tighten it down all the way. Is there a way to purchase a replacement and repair it? We thought about just putting duct tape on it because that can usually fix anything.

If it's like most things on an RV the ring will come with a new connector.
Gorilla glue might work or even a stainless steel hose clamp.

Here is a item you may want to get. Takes the strain off the plug.

I'll fourth that, It's silly they don't give you a power cord with a 90 degree end on it.
Here's a few options that may work for you.

Tightnening nut on cord

I just went online and was able to buy a plastic and a metal nut. I was able to force the plastic nut on the cord and it works great. Not sure about the metal nut sliding on.
