Question 3800 Spare Tire Handle to lower the spare

Anyone know where the spare tire handle is suppose to be. Something i didn't think about until today. Not that I have looked for it, because I haven't as i'm not with the trailer, I just haven't came across it yet.

Thanks:

Should be on the forward wall of the basement, on the curb side.

If not, check the small curb side compartment at the rear. That's where mine was.

If not there, check your dealers back room. Thats where mine was and it only took me 3 visits to get it from them.

Hey guess what... MINE TOO! Lol. Just called the dealer and they said all trailers are shipped with a box that the factory puts in the interior on the floor that contain multiple items for the trailer depending on the trailer and model. Now get this. Big surprise, the biggest item the factory mostly fails to include... the spare tire handle.

Dealer says they keep them in stock and there happy to give me one. Appoligized that there detail people should of caught it, and they gave me a $50.00 credit to there parts dept for my inconvenience.

Now thats great service.

Must have been a money saving move putting it in a box. Mine is held on the wall with two metal cable straps, forever there and out of the way. Of course my rig probably cost 30 cents more to produce.

No, I have the same 30 cent clips but mine were empty. The box of items that ships with the trailer contains the owners package, remotes, my missing jack handle, etc.

I makes sense that the boxs are prepared that way ahead of time. Shipping a model 3800, grab box X and toss it in on the floor. It has all the correct remotes, etc.

But apparently someone wasnt paying attention when it was " include spare tire handle" training day.

Let's just hope they didn't forget to install the winch back there.
