2016 Voltage here is what's new

Went to the LA County Fairground this past weekend. Longest running RV Show around. Saw what's new for 2016 models of Voltages. Biggest thing is new rear tailgate system. No more outside hinge & springs. The tailgate can be lifted with one finger. Has cables that run up the sides to the top. All enclosed where it also has two latches up top.. Has a MORryde rear step, new MORryde CRE3000 suspension. "V" series also has puck lights now. They also came out with a cheaper model line. Forgot the name but asking price was in the hi $40k range.

Interesting on the rear door/tailgate...

Depending on how the week goes, I may end up taking a motorcycle ride over there sometime this week to check things out. Think it's only 4 hours or so from here in Bullhead City/Laughlin.

Four hours would be about right. They are talking good chance of ran come Thursday through the weekend out here in the desert. Wednesday might be your best day.

That should be rain come Thursday. Been so long sense we've seen it I forgot how to spell it.
Other thing new is all the slides are cable now. They also had quite a few models with the 4-season rear patio doors. Patio rails now slide together & fold and store in the garage. Fact was all the different toyhaulers brands we looked at had some type of folding patio rail.

We ordered a 3970 during (and just after, long story) the Hershey Show in September, and the ramp door improvement was one of the biggest selling points. Door operation is so easy and sides are no longer attached to the door, as noted above. Set-up of the patio is now very quick, no more pins! The new door is part of the Epic V package. The command center has also gone wireless, and allows all your controls and monitors to be viewed and operated by a smart phone. Really nice features!
