Winterizing Denali 2445RLX???

So I hate the idea of antifreeze, just got all that nasty taste out from the Previous Owner leaving it in for 2 years in the desert heat. I would prefer to blow it out with compressed air. Which connection(s) should I use? Is there more than one? I noticed I did not get any water out of the two Starboard side drain spigots unless I powered on the water pump. One did not produce any water? Do I just use the city water connection and 50 PSI and open the faucets or is there a different way?

How do I winterize the water heater? Just bypass and drain? Is there a special way to drain it? Anything else I need to do?
Didn't get any paperwork.

I blow out the lines on my rv to winterize. I use a tankless compressor with a separate regulator and some adapters. You don’t need to bypass the heater but just drain it (I used a toilet type water valve on a flexible hose permanently attached with the valve— works on heaters with a specific drain port). Make sure you drain the outside ports also, like the shower port. Put the rv antifreeze in the sink and shower drains to protect the pipes in case there is still water in there.

Use antifreeze wherever there may be residual water….

There are loads of discussions about this here plus you tube is loaded with them.

Your hot water heater should have what looks like a large nut at the bottom, there are a couple of types of heaters, one with just a drain plug and one with an anode rod attached to the nut! If you have the one with the anode rod, you will probably need to replace it and flush the tank of the anode rod leftovers. Buy the tank flusher with the metal spigot, not the plastic or rubber.
