What in the world is this?

I just picked up my new 2016 Denali 335RLK 5th wheel yesterday. There is a knob/pin mounted on the driver side of the trailer near the service bay. I have no idea what it is for and the dealer just scratched his head. There is another one of this little knob/doo-hickie thing-a-ma- jigs in the basement also.
I am puzzled. Could not find anything in the generic owners manual.

Without the picture hard to say, BUT, I have a small plastic piece mounted on the side of my 319RLS and it is for a hook that will supposedly support the water hose. There was another in the storage bay, but I removed it and since when I picked up the trailer, the one on the outside was broke, I have never used the hook.
