Storage Lock

Wanted to see what everyone is using for locking there trailer when I storage?

I will be storing my trailer on a acreage that I store me work trailer at. It isn’t fenced so I want to have some form of coupler/wheel lock.

I have this on my dump trailer

Though this might be easier to use but I’m unsure

Any thoughts or other suggestions

I wish someone would steal mine after all these tire blowouts I'm afraid to even take it down the road.

In addition to locking the wheels to prevent theft of the trailer you might want to also secure your storage compartment doors on the trailer. All manufacturers use the same key for the storage compartment doors; therefore, you may want to change the locks out. I bought replacement locks on Amazon, you just have make sure you get ones that are the same length. I replaced all ours for less than $25 and they were keyed the same.

I’d lock the king pin. Not so much on the baggage storage/doors. They are a good for “honest folks” in campgrounds or monitored storage areas. An isolated area with no one watching more damage would probably be done to rig breaking in then the cost of anything inside. Just don’t leave any high dollar items in it when in storage. Just my .02.
