Sink gray tank release cable detached from valve
My release cable for sink gray tank simply slides in and out with no tension. Sink drain backs up with very little water added, then drains very slowly, so is tank valve stuck mostly closed with broken cable? If so, how do I get to it? Cable disappears into underbody of camper, and is on side opposite kitchen, so there's a long space for something to have gone wrong and I don't see how to get to it. Camper remains on seasonal site and I don't have means to move it, so repair must take place on site, and there's no one to do it but me. HELP!

Year, make and model will help anyone who may have knowledge of your rig.

Where did you find instructions? All I've found/heard involve cutting a hole in the bottom of the camper, and I'm definitely NOT that kind of handy!

Ok… the tag under your screen name says you’re in Winthrop, ME. I just plugged that into my Google Maps… searched for RV Repair… and found MULTIPLE repair options all around you. Pick one out, give em a call, and see if any of them have a mobile tech. If not, see if any of them may have other options for you.

I can’t find pics of your camper underneath. If it’s black plastic it’s not that
Hard to cut with good razor knife then you can see if you just need to reattach
Cable or replace gray valve then gorilla tape it back up. It’s Somewhat the same process
A shop would use. I’ve had to replace some water lines underneath
When a rat got thirsty and ate holes in them, after he ate my corn hole
Bags . Another story. All our best FLA

Got to find the tank first,, it is just a cable into the valve and a set screw, many replace with electric, not so easy if not a handy person. cuz you need voltage for the solenoids. either way,, you need to find it,, I can see my grey tube coming out of the under belly, and the bottom is basically plastic cardboard so to speak, easy to cut,, pain to reglue or some thread cable ties to reseal,
