You're uploading it to a photo sharing site then linking to it, right?

I'll never understand not getting a free photobucket account and just copying and pasting the links, so easy and your pics can be shared anytime anyplace.

Why in the world is this.... hope it works this time

http://www.dutchmenowners.org/forums...1&d=1470542183
Anyway, i called the factory and they told me that this STAYPUT clip is placed on the side to hold the blue coiled spray hose... There is no way in heck that this is going to hold the hose. There is nothing for it to attach to.
Any one have a clue, i would really be appreciated.
Thanks

On my browser they are on the left side, just above the first post and just below the last post.

I've seen those clips before but they were to hold a door open. As there is no door insite I think it's just there because of a BIG mistake.

"StayPut" clip

With regard to the small "stayput"clip in the picture, I have one on our Denali 293RKS. Inside the left side cargo door, near the services connections there is a "J" shaped hook, about 8" high that is held with a similar clip. The hook can be removed and relocated to the clip on the outside while you are parked to hold your coiled water hose as mentioned by the factory. If you don't have that hook, then you could probably fabricate one if you wanted. I don't have any pictures as the trailer is in storage at the moment. Hope this helps.

Wow! That sure explains a lot. Thank you. The factory didn't mention anything about needing a "J" hook. Did your rig come with the hook?

Yes it did come with it, or at least I expect that it did since I am the second owner. I would expect that it should have been with your new unit, especially since it is required to hang the coiled hose on as mentioned by the factory. You might want to go back to your dealer and see about getting it as it was probably shipped loose with the trailer and they may not have known what it was used for.

I asked the dealer what the clip was for and they had no idea. They said they woul call the factory and get right back to me. That was a month ago. You are the closest to a satisfactory answer and I really do appreciate it.

Why would you hang the blue coiled hose on the outside of your rig I leave mine in the wet bay.

[Thank you, I was going to leave this alone, but I made one last try to contact the factory. They said they are not licensed to sell parts so sent me to a distributor to figure out what I needed. I gave them all of the information including the VIN. This is what the distributor sent me. Name: IMG_1085.JPG

Someone mentioned that they just want to run you down to the ground until you give up and go away.

Hi T&J
Were you able to take a picture of the "J" hook yet. The factory parts dealer is asking me to sent them a picture of what it looks like so they can figure out what I am asking for. Seriously???
Anyway if you have a moment, I would really appreciate it... thanks

Photos

Hi Frank,
Here are some photos of the hook stowed in the basement and then installed on the outside. Also a shot with the coiled hose on it. Since the fitting on our trailer is directly over the sewage connection, it could also be used as a support for the sewage hose if you attach a strap to it. That would help offload the connection fittings for the sewage hose. Hope these help.

Tom
