Furnace not working 😕

I have a Dutchman Denali 2017 5th wheel.
The furnace blower is coming on. Sounds like lighting for 15 seconds and shuts off. 30 seconds later tries again. I did replace sail and limit switch and now one flash does not happen on red light.

So I appeared to fix limit switch issue.

But furnace does not stay lit and heat up rv.

I'm at a loss. Vents are clear and no bugs or webs I can see in exhaust.

Any thoughts 😕

Thanks Ken

Look for bugs in the intake. Usually WAY IN THE INTAKE.

won't work. Use a wire brush and get all the way into the chamber. Look for DIRT DOBBERS!

The lightning sound is the spark igniter. It will try to light three times, then shut down.

The igniter does not start until the sail switch is made, so the sail switch is not the problem. Cleaning the burner tube is a good idea, but if sail switch is made, a plugged tube is unlikely.

If the burner does not light while igniter is sparking, there is no gas flow. Check voltage on gas valve.

If it lights briefly and then goes out, the cause may be the spark igniter. The spark igniter also doubles for heat sensing. If no heat reported, it will stop sparking and wait with blower "on" to clear the chamber. Then it will open gas valve and spark for a while again.

Thanks will look at that. Did change limit switch and red flash stopped. Lights up but shuts down. Could the spark be to close and would opening the gap a tad work?

Okay opened spark a tad. Nice spark. No change lites off 20 seconds and gas shuts off. Fan runs as expected. No red lights. Can smell propane burn and feel heat from short bursts. I'm at a loss. Under warranty so I will have to trust service. I don't have great confidence in service bad experiences .

The operation is described on page 7 and 8 of the Owner's manual.

https://manuals.heartlandowners.org/...wood%20AFM.PDF

I did not notice your reference to a flashing light. There is a table on page 8 that lists the flashing light error codes.

What is the status of the LED code light?

The red light flashing issue resolved with replacement of limit switch.

Have you checked gas pressure to the furnace? It demands a lot of gas whereas the water heater, refrigerator and stove don't. If you don't have the pressure it won't stay on.

Control board most likely got wet or connections not tight or corroded. Take the board out and look under it for corrosion on the solder joints. Does your furnace have the access panel on the outside for access? Pic of a bad board.

Access panels are known for leaking.
If it is the board and under warranty, try to get them to install a Dinosaur board. Much better board.
Great video for trouble shooting
Notice this one has the relocation kit for the board installed. It gets it up from the flat area where water can get.

Yes did look at board. Looked fine.
Under warranty so I will ask service to validate it is good.

I do wonder if rv service checking system for leaks did they damage the valve for furnace?

Okay after freezing my butt in NC I ended up changing the gas valve. Works like it should. Then sail switch connection was bad. Pushing the lead allowed it work but vibration caused to not restart. Happy and warm now.
