Coupler lock

I’m looking for suggestions for a 5th wheel lock

I am picking up my new to me 5th wheel on the 16th and will be storing in on an acreage.

I store my gooseneck there and have this on the tire as I can use a coupler lock on it

I have been thinking this might be an easier option

If a thief had enough time and resources he could defeat both of them. The wheel immobilizer could be cut off with a sawzall and the kingpin could be unbolted and replaced with a new one. But again both methods would take quite a long time.

Having said that I think either would be fine. On my bumper tow I used the first but when I upgraded to my 5er I went with the lock that goes over the pin as it seemed like enough to me and is quick and easy to install and remove, plus requires less space to store.

I know each isn’t fool proof but would slow them down enough.

I’m going to add a battery disconnect also that will turn off power to the landing gear so I might just go with the pin lock.

Is proven industry’s the best option or is there another option out there. I know Trimax makes one but they make garbage locks in my experience
