What's this for?

As I was crawling around under my 3990 cutting away the coroplast to fix a possible broken valve that wont drain and this falls out. USB female on 1 end with 30 on it (guess it means feet) all nicely bundled up and 6 pin electrical plug. Along with various screws and about 10 feet of leftover, I hope, red pex line. Any ideas folks?

A guess from out of the blue.
Does it have the same connections as slide controls or leavleup system.

Working on my 3990 and discovered I'm missing 30' of wire with a female USB end and a 6 pin electrical plug. Anybody know where it is? LOL Hopefully it was an extra they dropped and forgot. Thinking as long as everything works, you're good to go. Good luck with the valve repair.

Hilarious Rusty, thanks. Valve repair will be another full thread.

I have been looking all over for my connection for my WiFi Ranger on the roof, maybe this is it! I have removed the skylight in the bathroom, every light and vent in the coach and both AC and DC electrical, panels and still no luck. Maybe it never got connected!

Does it come up on the list of available networks when you turn on wifi on a portable device?

Nope Don never has and I am totally baffled. Called Ranger and Dutchmen and they have no clue where it is wired or how to fix it. There suggestion was to buy new since it is out of warranty.

Great suggestion...

Cal Johnson had become quite a self made expert on this setup and I recall him talking about it being powered by the 5th 12V fuse on the fuse panel. There is a sequence for applying and removing power multiple times to reset the Wifi Ranger to OE settings - depending on how badly you want it running, might be worth a search on the forums...

Only other suggestion for what that cable is for is that on my garage stereo, there is an option on the screen for playback from a USB - maybe this is the cable for that? I could not tell you as Mine has never worked and maybe I am missing that cable? LOL

Just curious, would my 3990 have come with one? Never used it, don't know where it's at, and doesn't show up when I turn on a mobile device. If I have one and it doesn't work, when I'm bored, I'll work on it. If it was an option, I would have ordered it. Just want to know.

See the small white rectangular box in the upper left of the photo behind the solar panel - that's my WiFi Ranger...

Thanks. Don't have one on the roof. Was that something that was standard in 2014 or did you order it? I have a 2015 and it wasn't listed as an option or standard feature.
