Source for keys for my outside hatches?

As my handle with State I have a Dutchmen 180 classic from 1992. The prior owner did not provide me with keys to the outside hatches. The rear most hatch is locked and I need to get in. I tried the generic key it did not work does anyone know what I need?

If you have AAA, they will come out and unlock it for you.

Locked Hatch

Cheaper to drill it yourself and take the lock (whats left of it) to a lock shop. Those locks are very generic and inexpensive. Labor to have it done for you, .....not so much.

triple A does it as part of your membership. I had to have someone come out and unlock one and he picked it in about 30 seconds.

Is the key you tried a CH751? Most rv's out there, especially older ones use that same key. Only costs a few bucks to try one out...

My 2004 hybrid and my 2014 Aerolite both used them.

Hey MD180. I agree with the other posters that AAA should be able to open them for you or most RV parts department can order you a key.

I replaced all of my locks with the following. All keyed the same and was a quick change out.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Quick question? The Amazon ad states:
"Westway Global Disc Tumbler Cam Lock with 7/8" Cylinder and Chrome Finish, Keyed Alike"

I understand my keys will be alike. BUTTTT will they be alike to everyone else ???? How many combinations are available???

Thanks
Bill

Well I guess that keeping a clean house has its Rewards, because while cleaning out the storage cubby by the front door I found the key and it will work on all the locks! I was just about to call AAA. Now if I can only get my water heater to work....sigh.

Storage Compartment locks

Since everybody and their pets have a CH751 key and a couple of others, I exchanged my key locks for Combi Cam locks. They are 3 digit combination and work great. Match the thickness of your compartment door to the length of the lock and you are in business.

Oh no you don't!
You just can't come on here and give us a tasty little tidbit like that, without more information such as a link to where to buy them!

Welcome to the forum.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. As a couple of the reviews stated, they did not come with instructions . I had no issues with mine, set my combo and they are good to go

I like that idea. Just wondering if they might suffer from dirt and grime on the road??

I was going to order replacements for my "751", but then I am thinking how many other "numbers" are available? 2? 3? 5? No one could answer my question.

So your suggestion sounds good. Thanks.

CH751 is the more common one. There are rubber caps that assemble to the lock assembly that snaps into place and keeps the yuck off them. I think I also found them on Amazon.

Actual item off Ebay
'Frank J. Martin 7850-DC Combi Cam Dust Cover"
