poor A/C cooling with Advent AC150

Have 2013 Kodiak 300BHSL with the Advent AC150. The air get's cold (~50) but air volume is very poor. Even in fan speed 3, get very little air flow through vents. During the summer days in Tx, temp will climb to 81-84 degrees during the day. Any similiar experiances with AC150 AC units? Any fixes?

The RV shop did something similiar and it did improve things, but it still get's in the 80 during the day in the RV. The Advent AC150 is suppose to put out 580 SCFM of air (best in industry) but mine puts our very little air. it's back in the shop though.

Heh. I feel your pain. We were in Leander in mid-August and had the same problem. Our a/c cools and blows great. I think half the issue is the insulation. There is simply not enough in the slides and side walls for one a/c to handle the load when it is 105+ outside.

We will have a second a/c before our next summer trip down there.

I don't for sure. I believe it is a Dometic, the thermostat is Dometic. If I can get over to the storage lot in the next couple of days I will check for sure.

I have the same problem with my unit also. Have a Dutchman 317qbs and the unit with ducts don't seem to keep it cool enough. I ordered a advent flash freeze which I can open vent and bypass ducts and have air dump in directly for fast cool down.
