Hello All, attached are some pics showing cabinet drawer failure. Has anyone replaced their cabinets drawers and if so where do you purchase better quality?
Thanks
My solution was to rebuild with better craftsmanship. You probably can't buy another drawer that will fit unless Keystone will sell you a duplicate. The duplicate will fail just the same.
Glue, screws and corner braces work better than staples.
The above responses are call accurate. The drawers and slides are crap.
My solution was to get finish grade 1"x2" pine boards, then cut them to make a box inside the drawer. 2" goes vertical to minimize box shrinkage. Glue them in place against the sides and bottom of the drawer. That will reinforce to entire drawer and help keep then slides from bending. You will need to clamp the pieces to the drawer and then the outsides of the drawer together

Our kitchen drawer came loose also on our
Dutchman Kodiak.
What we did is took it to a cabinet shop and they built a new one.
After doing an extensive search finally found someone to replace existing kitchen drawers with quality wood.
David Blaesing is a retired cabinet maker who still dabbles in woodworking he can be reached @ 863-934-9224
