I recently purchased a 2015 Kodiak 300BHSL. The pictures on the website showed a ladder on the rear of the trailer, but when we got there to do the inspection and purchase the trailer, I actually held up the purchase because the trailer did not have the ladder installed. Consequently, the dealership was going to install the ladder but after they consulted Dutchman to determine the location of the anchor points, they were told by Dutchman that the extra supporting wood imbedded in the wall during construction is only put there when they (the manufacturer) installs the ladder and that you cannot install a ladder as an aftermarket product without installing the support required in the walls.
Since the photos on their website showed the ladder but the unit they sold me didn't have the ladder, the dealership reimbursed me for the cost of the ladder. I ended up purchasing a telescoping ladder (
