Kodiak Hybrid Travel Trailer

Hi all.
We have a 2018 Kodiak 206es travel trailer and it has a direct heat furnace.
No ducting. Just got air blown out from the unit and one small duct going under trailer for sealed heated area so pipes don't freeze...much.
Anyone ever replace their unit with a ducted furnace.?
Just wondering how much of a pain it might be?
Thanks
Jeff

For the most part, your TT is not big enough to need ducting. I have a Kodiak Cub. The furnace is setup similar to yours. It is noisy when running, but heats fine.

You won't be camping with wet plumbing during freezing weather so the 2 inch duct to the floor is there just for show. The hole through the floor was not drilled through in mine. The covered belly space is not sealed or insulated.

Check your generic manual for your TT. It will say you must winterize the plumbing when ever the temp is 32 deg or less. Frozen plumbing is not a valid warranty claim.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!
