Kodiak 291RESL

We bought brand new Kodiak 291RESL. I can’t believe all the issue. Someone tell me that it is just a weird start and problems won’t follow us every time we are in camper.

Problems with your unit or problems with RV'ing and using? Did you do a thorough PDI before picking up the RV? Little things will develop as with anything new. If you need assistance, this site is loaded with smart people who have the answers. All they ask is include a photo if applicable and to post a result when resolved. Don't worry and enjoy your new RV.

Unfortunately it is with the RV. Light covers apparently flew off on first trip out. We had big rains and both skylights and 6 out of 8 windows and vent behind ventahood all leaked. Trim is now ruined from all the rain. Of course, while we were checking for water damage saw some of the covering on the trim in areas not damaged by rain is coming off. Found some busted paneling that we did not catch in the walk thru. I feel like there is not one area that doesn’t need work.

We have a 2014 291RESL, no real leaking or finishing issues yet. Call the dealer right away to get this taken care of. Sounds like you got either a Monday or Friday built model.

Or one made by Dutchmen. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Heartbreaker. Don't let it leave a bad taste in your mouth. Get it in right away. Dealers are already overbooked with end of season repairs and winterizing. Sorry about your bad luck. Hoping it gets resolved quickly (and properly!).
