Post Infinity 3520ms

We purchased a 2012 infinity Aug of 2011, since then we have taken the rig in to Bills' RV repair three times. First was the 4 door frig, installed wrong, hot water tank leaking at crossover line, blinds, repair/replace, ceiling fan replace. slide going in and out, catching on floor, needs adjustment. 2nd time was for cable for tv, hookup was on the door side of rig, had to move to other side, rubber roof seals were cracking(caulking on roof vents, etc) sewer smell inside of rig, living room chairs, have to pull them out 12 to 14 inches in order to recline as they hit the wall and blinds if you don't. Bathroom door and bedroom door don't shut all the way, had to adjust that. 3rd time is going on now, been at repair shop for a week, replaced black tank and inside sewer line from toilet to tank, fixed shower bar in shower as it was coming off the wall, parts on order for recall about disconnect switch not wired right, could cause fire. Front fiberglass cap fading badly, from top down, bad paint and clearcoat or just not done right. Front fiberglass cap also not insulated and bedroom a/c does such a poor job that we have to put a box fan in doorway to pull air from livimg room to keep cool at night. If you leave wardrobe doors open it will get very hot in bedroom so close them. Have had 4 leaks on the 6-way level-up system and still when parked can't get the rig to level from side to side, was told to call MFG company. Dutchmen customer service is at best, very poor, no replys, they just go OK hopeing you will go away. Not sure how long it will take to get front cap repainted but was told by a camping world tech that all the infinitys will have this problem as materials used were did not have uv blockers and such and they too will fade out in a very short time. Owned a dutchmen colorado before this, should have learned from that, it too was a nightmare, Quality, very poor, workmenship, not at all, so sorry we purchased another dutchmen product, never again. Next one will be a forest river or allegro breeze. Check vents on 4 door frig if you find metal plates over top vent have a repair man check it out as this could burn out the frig or cause a fire. chrl2brs

Re: Infinity 3520ms

Sorry to hear about all the issues. I uderstand your reasons for being upset (to put it mildly...).

You mention Forest River as a brand you would consider. Check out this post from a Forest River owner..

Re: Infinity 3520ms

Sorry to hear about all the issues you are having. This could be more of a dealer issue than a Dutchman Factory issue though.
We had a 2011 Dutchman TT that spent 3 of its first 8 months with us in the shop, and was in the shop for another round of expensive repairs when I called the Dutchman factory customer service rep. All I asked him to do was to put our VIN into his service database and to call me back. When he did so, he asked me if there was a new TT at the dealer that we would be interested in.....of course there was, but it listed for almost twice what our old TT did.
The dealer (Blue Dog in Post Falls, ID) gave us what we paid for our 2011, discounted the new TT 10K, the factory kicked in another 5k, and we paid 5k out pocket.....Deal!.....try calling the factory directly and ask for their customer service rep....they will work with you, I am sure.
