Hmmm.... what to do with the truck box?

Not sure what to stock the box of my truck with - thinking quads, wave runners or snowmobiles, likely on a hydraulic lift deck. I'd like to get a 4-seater dune buggy or jet boat but doubt I will be able to fit either on truck deck. Although, you can buy two nice little sea-doo lifting devices for shorter length sea-doos, which may be cool.

I assume you all went with TT's to use the box of your truck so what are you folks putting in them?

Getting a toy hauler wouldn't have been the solution because then I wouldn't have any money left over for the toys to fill it! LOL But more importantly, I couldn't convince my wife to let a garage double as living space.

The most innovative (and weird) thing I ever saw was a guy who was a welder/engineer and had a one ton pickup, 20 foot speed boat and a fifth wheel......he rigged up from scratch a complete way to winch his boat up into the bed of his truck, with the front of the boat sticking up at about a 45 degree angle, 10 feet above the hood of the truck.
Because his boat was in the bed, he also welded up a custom hitch platform with wheels that attached to his frame at the back, and the 5er dropped into that......I saw this rig in Redding, CA, and I really wish I'd taken a picture of it......the metal welding and structure was simply beautiful, and unbelievably well done....

Firewood, when allowed. E-Z Up canopy, sometimes bikes, wood boxes for the stabilizer jacks and tongue jack. That's about it...

Stick a rally car in there!

2 Honda generators, canopy, tool box, bicycle equipment, 15 gallon water tank for transferring water into trailer, spare hose and 30 amp power cord.
Load equalizer bars and hitch. All is kept in truck under roll away, lockable, bed cover. Ready to use, but out of site.

Thinking about this some more, once I get our 48" dog crate, it will take up most of my box so toys may be out of the equation!

I store a truck box for all the small stuff like tow chains, tire chains (for winter areas) shovel, flares, stuff like that... I also have my tool box, PFD's, paddles, small generator, and I keep the trailer hitch and spring bars in there when I'm not towing. All this is covered with a folding Tonneau cover. I have a canoe rack over all this too!
