General Slide-out question

Hi All. My 2014 2461RK Denali is the first TT that I have owned with a Slide-out. My concern is that when its closed, the top portion of the slide looks tight, maybe 1/2" off the TT exterior wall, while the bottom portion is over 1" off the wall. In your opinion, should I be concerned and spend my time and money taking it back to the dealer for them to 'inspect', or is this just a typical alignment??

Doesn't sound typical, my slide is snug to the wall from top to bottom.

If you are talking about the outside of the slide when closed, it should be flush with the side of the RV.

To clarify, you should make sure that all of your seals are firmly in contact with the outside of the trailer. "Flush" means at the same level, and you slide is actually sticking out from the side when it is closed. The slides on my 3905 have a slight gap in them when closed (1/4 inch at the top, and 1/2 inch at the bottom) but all the seals are compressed against the side. If you adjust them tight against the side, I think it would put too much pressure on the exterior slide trim. This is just my opinion though, and I am by no means an expert. My dealer adjusted the slides after my PDI, and explained it to me, and I agree. By the way, when I did the PDI , 1/2 of the seals on the big slide didn't even touch the trailer.

Did he explain how he did the adjustment? What process he used, top first bottom first ect... what nuts he losened or tightened?

Same question...on my 2014 Voltage 3800 the large living area slide is about 1/2" further open at the front than at the rear.

When extending or retracting the slide one end moves a bit before the other to compensate for the alignment.

I would really like to know how to address this and get the alignment correct.
