Exterior Light Quit Working

The light on the exterior of our Denali 270 FK next to the front door has quit working. I don't see how the cover removes to get to the bulb........I know somebody will be able to help me with this. Can I replace the bulb with an LED....should I consider that?

Thanks.

The best way to explain it is to pinch the cover... so press the top of the lens downwards and the bottom of the lens upwards and it will unsnap... some force might be needed! I go through a few bulbs a year...it seems if you forget it overnight, it will be burned by morning!

Yes there are LEDs available for just about every lighting application on your trailer.

Yes you should consider them, they will make your batteries last much longer when you are dry camping.

I have replace every bulb with LEDs, except for the fluorescents.

We use the bright white vs the warm white. Our tired old eyes like it much better for reading.

Do a lot of shopping around for your LEDs and for sure do not buy them from an RV dealer, unless you are feeling generous and want to pay for his next Cadillac.

You can find them online from $2.00 each vs $20.00 at a dealer. There are many sellers in China on eBay. LEDs are one of the few Chinese products that have improved in quality and reliability to the point that I will buy them again. I did have some negative experiences several years ago with them.
