Coleman Lantern Light 2125BH Roof

Good day. Does the roof on a Coleman Lantern Light 2125BH have enough support for me to get on top without concern? I weight 165#.

Thanks - Lee

I have a 2605RL from Coleman, been up on the roof, was too little wondering that strength of the roof, but no problems. I have more weight than you, no worries. Hot summer day. Early spring, and soon to go on and wash the roof, check for any sealing on screws.

We had some warranty work done on our 1925BH and the tech said we were fine to get up on the roof, to inspect lap seal and renew, etc.

Light LX 1855RB Roof

How do I know if I can walk on my roof. No ladder on TT and Manual is contradictory at best.

Ultra Light Roofs

The roof probably has a very thin layer of plywood or particle board. Sometimes there are weak spots due to poor quality wood. There may be trusses widely spaced. Sometimes an extra truss is installed where something heavy is mounted on the roof like an air conditioner.

Wear soft sole, clean shoes. Step with extreme care. Feel for support underneath before putting weight on the spot. Try to step where truss is.

I have an ultra light Kodiak Cub. I use a 4X4 piece of 1/2 inch ply to step on when ever I can. I don't put my weight on the roof unless absolutely necessary.

Please feel free to start your own thread for new questions.

I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead!
