Battery Connection 2007 Dutchmen Travel Trailer

Hi,
We purchased a Used 2007 Dutchmen Travel Trailer last year. We removed the battery for winter storage but when we go to connect the battery now, it has 4 wire connections. A black, white and 2 red wires and no picture was taken of the connections prior to removing. Where can I find a battery diagram so I am properly hooking these 4 wires up? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Rv 101 for wire color is white is always ground. The black and red wires, if they are positive wires and they more than likely are, should have a breaker or fuse protection within 18 inches of the battery. The only problem with this explanation is that someone who does not know that while is always ground may have owned it before you. Oh, and to answer your original question, there is no wiring diagram.

If you have an electric tongue jack that may be the second red wire. Easy enough to trace. On my trailer red is positive and black is negative. While inside the trailer white may be negative, I don't believe that is the case at the battery connections. I may be wrong, and if I am I am certain to be corrected.

That black wire may be the main battery ground to the trailer frame. Vehicle battery 101, red is positive and black is ground. Do some tracing of the black and white wires to confirm they go to the negative battery terminal.

Wire colors

Black is hot or high, white is neutral, and green is ground for 120 volt circuits. Bare is ground. Exceptions are allowed.
Black is minus and red is positive for 12 volt systems. Black may be grounded. Bare is ground. Exceptions are allowed.
Custom installations or when there are shortages of proper color for 12 volts allows any color including multi colored.

I wish you good luck and happy trials ahead!
