And 303 on your propane tank cover will keep it black and not faded grey.

As well as other plastic around your rig.

303

About 100 or so bad reviews where people complain on Amazon that 303 makes their stuff look worse than before using it. Fading, grey spots, streaks, or plain just didn’t work. That concerns me a little. Hmmm.

It's at 92% with 4-5 stars, I wouldn't let the 100 out of 2300 concern you. There's no possible way it's going to look worse after using it. It's NOT a restoration product, if you didn't take care of your stuff before using this, that's a you problem.

I understand the overwhelming good reviews. Just trying to explain their experiences, like the guy who sprayed it on his LP tanks and wasn’t happy. Whatever those 100 people did wrong, I would like to not repeat. That’s all.

favorite failure review

Case in point, the RV product at the link below has 300 reviews and averages a 4 star rating. I bought THREE of these and they ALL FAILED in the exact manner described by this HILARIOUS review.

I'd bet people treat it like armor all and just spray and wipe. It specifically says to spray on a clean not in direct sunlight surface and WIPE DRY. It does take a little more effort but i'll never use another product for UV protection.

303 makes a bevy of products. Make sure you buy the correct one. Follow directions. Use it on my motorcycle, 5th wheel, truck and Jeep. Never an issue. Again, follow directions. PS, loved that Camco product review. Hilarious.

Thanks, specific product links help a ton. Both 303 and Rejex are BRANDS, not products.

Yes - that is what I was saying. 'Thank you' for doing that. It helps a lot. Sometimes people (not you) will be less specific on what product they like, so your link from post #15 was awesome.

I was't trying to get a back slap, I thought you missed it. Some people don't see those hyperlinked bold words very well on their phones.

Understood. All good! I I’ve ordered a bottle. Hopefully if used per directions, it won’t turn my trailer purple as some assert. Haha.

Our awning just tore along the edge exposed to the sun. I will use the half PVC to protect it.

I use 4" drain pipe from home depot, which is thinner than PVC so it is bendable. Comes in 10' lengths. I just did this last week, saw it on YouTube. My trailer has sat in the AZ sun for 5 years and both awnings look fine so far.

AZ sun = Awning Zapper Sun

We live in North Phoenix, AZ. Phoenix is aptly named as the firebird city. Don't expect to see a lot of Trans Ams, unless it Barrett Jackson week, but do expect some hot, intense sun.

We have had our Kodiak Ultimate for almost two years now and after a year and a half, the top of our awning was sunrotted. What used to be an odd shade of green is now snowflake white, at least on the top when its rolled up. Extending the awning reveals a twinkle light show in the first foot of awning except its daytime and those aint stars but the sun poking through millions of tiny holes. Some of the holes are looking like Haley's Comet, (remember that?) due to longer holes.

I did use an awning protectant from trip one, although it wasn't the fabled 303, which I have now ordered. We've had other RVs with awnings here that didn't have the failure so I guess it was just luck of the draw.

Looking for replacements now, and seriously looking at the aluminum roll protector.
Any thoughts on Vinyl vs. Acrylic?

I can totally see me forgetting to remove the pipe before a trip and losing it on the road. :|
never heard of putting anything over the awning when stored......have had 7 campers over a total of about 40 years and have yet to ever have an awning come apart, break, or get a hole in it from normal use. have had one fade out pretty bad and not look too good....but it was still an awning and still worked.
