Added Vent Fans

So we pulled the trailer to a weekend soccer tournament. I decided to try and make use of the down after the games were over by adding some vent fans to my 1994 Classic 300. I went with the Vortex II fans, mainly for price reasons and because I could install them in the existing vents. I went with the Vortex II because it is a multi-speed version with 3 forward speeds and 2 reverse.

I was able to pull power from a nearby light on each one. Install went without any issues. It probably took about 30 minutes for each one. I installed one in the kitchen area and 1 in the bedroom. That only leaves the bathroom and that one should be even easier since there is already power run to it for the old broken stock exhaust fan.

My impression of them is that they are a little noisier than I would like on high, but still quieter than the other small 12v fan I have.

They move more air and definitely help pull cool air in from outside. Cooking with the kitchen one running keeps the heat from the stove from radiating too far and raising the temp in the trailer.

Good job, amazing how much air a good roof vent fan can move!

They really helped with the temperature throughout the day. It was sunny and mid 80’s. It stayed cooler in the trailer than it was outside, even when I was cooking lunch on the stove. I didn’t have to fire up the generator to run the AC at all.
