2014 Denali 266, 287 or 289 Bed Question

I have a new 289RK and the Bed did not come with the struts for the under bed storage. It is a real pain to open. Did your units come with the struts? My window sticker said it came with them but the dealer told me they did not.

Even if they did come with it you'll still need the broomstick. My shocks don't hold the bed up but the stick does.

No struts here. And no real good place to add them either.

my 2012 289RK did not come with struts I plan to make the box under the bed bigger and add drawers so mattress does not have to be lifted. it is very heavy and I doubt if struts would hold it even double struts.

Our 2014 289RK does NOT have struts either. And yes the bed is very heavy
