Wife wantís a new camper..

So you know what that means..

Years ago we camped, started with a pop-up then, small travel trailer, eventually move up to a 32í rv. That was about 12 years ago, kids now all in college and now looking at getting something that we can do some weekend/extended weekend trips in. Right now looking at an Aerolite 272RBS, used, not seen it in person yet but looks like itís in good shape, been stored indoors.

Looking for some advice on what should I look out for on the Aerolite? Iíve been looking at postings trying to gather some intel on more common issues and (hopefully) not common issues like delamination. That really caught me off guard, only thought I had to worry about my boat delaminating. It's mind boggling how many manufactures, floor plans, etc..

So happy to hear the good or the bad, what you like/don't like, would do different, why you chose Dutchman over brand X, etc..

thank you in advance.

All campers are going to have one problem or another regardless of the brand, it all depends how well it has been take care of. 3 main things to check, 1-the roof
2-the roof
3-the roof
If the roof wasn't maintained and caulked run away. Water intrusion is the number one destroyer of campers. While it's good that it was stored indoors, if he used it that means it was towed and that means body/roof flex which leads to cracked caulk joints. If it has a solid roof most other problems should be minor.
