Press On Backsplash "Tiles"

Wife is wanting some extra protection and a snazzier look by asking me to install some directly behind the sink and I'm wondering if any of you have applied them and been happy with a particular brand. Not sure what look as of yet, just more interested in a brand that seemed halfway decent, went on as it's supposed to, and has held up.
I was looking at one brand where reviewers said they were a bit heavier than some others but in my mind that isn't necessarily a bad thing and the slight extra weight shouldn't be an issue IMO. Unless of course that means they won't adhere well.

Hey Largo! Got any pics or brand? We’re looking as well. PS, we love Key Largo.

We added the Home Depot brand of press tile to our Denali 289RK. The project was a challenge, first, because the sink counter and cabinets going forward were separating from the exterior wall. With the trailer parked in our pad, I wedged 2x4s between the trailer wall and the house to force the wall inwards. Then I secured the cabinet firring back to the wall as best as I could with glue and lag bolts. Having done that and seeing that there was an improvement, I started to configure the tiles for placement, and found that the countertop was not parallel to the bottom of the cupboards, so instead of going from counter to cupboard, I decided to add molding all around the back of the counter. I applied the press tiles directly to the wall paper. We had this trailer for several years after this project, and never had a problem with the adhesive. Visually, it was a dramatic improvement. Functionally, it was easy to clean and eliminated the possibility of grease stains behind the sink and the stove top. So, good luck with your own project.

Surround

Be careful with stick on, especially plastic. If you put them around the stove the heat will melt the glue and they come off.

The Home Depot tile sheets that I used were stick on plastic, and had the feel and look of silicon. I had no problem with the tiles adhering well above the cooktop, but, the folded top of the stove created a barrier between the burner heat and the tiles. Note in one of my photos that I did not place tiles to the right of the stove.

What we finally went with - sort of a brushed stainless steel look. The tiles are back a fair ways from the actual burners so hopefully they won't get too warm. If they do and come off, then they come off and we'll rethink our options. In the meantime the wife is happy, which is worth... a lot.
