Newbie Question

All,
I am brand spanking new to this forum and find myself asking our first question. This is our second travel trailer. We just purchased a 2018 Kodiak 255 BHLS and for the life of me can't figure out what the two drain plugs on the right rear of the trailer is used for. There is one with a red water line running to it so I assume it has something to do with hot water. Yep, read the Op manual from cover to cover and can't find an answer.

I've owed it for about 3 weeks now and just returned from our first outing. All went well with no major issues.

Thanks in advance for assistance...

Mike & Erin

I think those might be your low water drains. One red and one white perhaps.

Welcome to the forums!

Those sound like low point drains, you use them when you winterize to get the last bit of water out of the system.

Thanks for the replies. I do believe those are the low point drains. They are right together. On my last trailer they were separated quite a ways. Here is a photo of them.

Again, thanks for the assistance.

Nope no outside kitchen and just the one bathroom.

Thanks for all the answers.
you should have one more on your fresh water tank. Don't think these will completely drain your water system when you winterize.
