New to me camper with soft ceiling

Hello! I recently purchased a 1997 aerolite 21rdb. It's in good usable shape. Th ceiling is soft on the inside, middle- around the hole for the satellite (now gone) air-conditioner, and roof vent.

My question is about replacing that. Can I pull down the panels from the inside without taking stuff off the roof above? I'm thinking we can replace light fixtures and check wiring and leaks while it's all open. Then, put new ceiling panels back up?

My husband and I are handy and capable- we've just never owned a camper and not sure what to expect if we tear in (but it ALWAYS ends up being more of a job than you expect ) )

I thought I'd start with an owners manual question but @snakebite cleared that up for me

Help and advice appreciated!!

Taking the panels off from the inside (inside ceiling panels) sounds like a good idea to start with since you probably want to replace them anyway. This way you can fix the AC vents too.

The only way to fix it is to remove the roof and rebuild the panels. They are made in 4x8 sections with a 1 1/2 aluminum structure around the perimeter, with a center of styrofoam and 1/4" plywood on each side. The cieling side is white vinyl coated. Originally they were vacume formed and you obviously can't do that. So, whatever you do there will be no structural integrity to the cieling/roof. Sell the trailer for whatever you can get.

If you have a hDmi port marked ARC, that is input and output.. you can also use the fiber port if your tv and stereo has one.

That makes absolutely no sense!

Maybe you would find it as OPTICAL. ARC is audio return channel. It is an HDMI port that has audio in and out. What model tv and stereo?
