A slide topper is nothing more than a retractable canopy that covers the slide when it's open and rolls itself up when the slide is closed.
It helps keep leaves and debris from being rolled into the inside.

Lippert makes a slide sleeve that doesn't roll up but folds up as the slide is retracted. It contains the leaves and debris until it's swept or blown away.

I had one from Carefree of Colorade installed on our trailer. Sure saves on a lot of cleaning before bringing in the slide room!

I had three put on my 300BHSL. They work like a charm. Unsure of the brand as they were installed by Camping World as an add on when the unit was new.

Hi cassatia, I too requested to put slide topper on my 300BHSL. My dealer was only able to do it to the living room and bunkhouse slides. They said they couldn't find a low-profile topper for the kitchen side cuz there was not enough clearance from the awning. Can you tell me what topper from Camping World is on the kitchen slide? Thanks.
