Goodbye dinette, Hello power reclining love-seat.
New member here. I've been lurking since April when we downsized to a new Aerolite 213RBSL. In 6 months of ownership we have pulled this little trailer coast-to-coast and then some. We love it, but some things had to go.
I replaced the quirky "king" mattress with a new Cal King memory foam before it ever left the driveway. It fit great, and has been wonderful on my back. But what I've really been looking for is a suitable replacement for the dinette that we never use.
Today my wife and I located a power reclining love-seat in the "clearance" section of our local furniture store reduced to $299 from $899 because it was missing the storage compartment cover on the center console. I replaced it with a $6.99 bamboo cutting board from TJMaxx, works perfectly.
Now this trailer is almost perfect. It just needs some sliding shower doors to perfect it.

That's a perfect fit! Been wanting to do something like that in our 213.

Sweeeet!
I haven't quite decided what to do yet with that booth.
Seriously considering the Office-Dining combo that is built the exact same size.
If I didn't already have a "reading room" with the Lazyboy, your solution would be exactly what I would do! (I converted the King Size to a Full and put the LazyBoy in the gained floor space)
And if you find a good sliding door solution for that awesome shower, please share!!!!!!!
I said it before, that little magic 213RBSL has a cult following. Awesome package.

It would be nice to find something that allowed for some storage underneath, and made into a bed. That's a reach

That is a quite reach. You would think this option was available from the factory.
Mine doesn't have much storage but its a wall-hugger and when fully reclined its perfect for napping; young ones might make it the whole night in it.

Thanks. The pics of your lazy-boy and bed mods got me thinking about doing this. I would be interested to see your office-dining combo concept.
I'll definitely share the shower doors when I find the right ones !

I'll try to scrounge up a pic of the office/dining setup.
But honestly, I eat either at the table on the porch (good weather) or in the recliner. So I wouldn't miss the dining table too much. I really like your choice for a 2-person 213. Really nice.
I just noticed your bathroom door swings the opposite direction of mine. It's amazing how many things like that are different from one unit to the next.

Something similar to this. Table can fold and stow, leaving plenty of floor space for accessing the desk like a desk. But if I did want to serve up a table meal, then it does double duty.

Now that is pretty sweet! If it was just me I think I'd do this. Having a place to work, or work on stuff, would be great. I spend a lot of time at my home office desk.
Thanks for the pic (and more ideas).
