Electric Door Lock Programing

So anyone know how to program the entry code for the electric lock? My unit is a 212rbsl, can't wait to get it out for the first time.

Re: Electric Door Lock Programing

My owner's manual is in storage with my trailer but have you checked to see if it is covered in yours?
Sorry, not much help right now. Maybe a quick call to your dealer's sales or service would get you the information as well?

Re: Electric Door Lock Programing

Our 212RBSL is actually in the shop for the keyless entry (and adding slide awning). Stopped working after one day and we didn't have manual so were stuck with the defualt codes (12343 to open 12341 to lock) Supposed to pick up later today and they are supposed to have manual. I'll post later if I have something.

Re: Electric Door Lock Programing

OK, it looks like what I have is a Southco EA-R03. Southco.com does not have this manual anywhere I ccould find on-line but they do have information on the main controler - EA-R01. So from the manual my dealer provided:

1. Press the 9-0 button for 3 seconds. Keypad lights should flash twice then stay on.

2. Enter the current user code (defaults to 1234). When entering the last digit, hold the button for 2 seconds. Keypad lights should flash once then stay on.

3. Enter new code. When entering last digit, hold button for 2 seconds. Keypad light shold flash once then stay on.

4. Repeat the new user code. Again, hold last digit for 2 seconds.

5. Keypad lights should flash once then turn off.

If lights turn off dirring steps 1-4, then programming has been timed out and process started over.

Also, I was backwards in earlier post on lock and unlock codes. It's user code and 1-2 button to unlock. User code and 3-4 button to lock.

Hope this helps.

BTW - having to replace entire door for some reason in order to get the keyless lock to start working again.

Re: Electric Door Lock Programing

I was missing the step 4 when I tried reprogramming mine. AFter a half hour and much cursing and swearing to myself, I decided to reread the instructions and noticed this (not so) subtle step in the guide. Doh!!
