BAL X-Chock

I have a 2016 Kodiak 255BHSL and love it so far. I was looking to get a pair of BAL X-Chocks to help stabilize the unit and cut down on the rocking. Does anyone know if the 28012 model (up to 10 inch spacing between tires) will work or do I need the X-tended fit (up to 17 inch spacing)? I measured the distance between the tires and it is around 9 1/2 inches at the closest point so I am guessing the X-tended version would be better. Anyone else using these or has suggestions?

Thanks for your time and help!

No you want the 10" model.

Make sure that when the chock is completely closed it will fit between the tires. I found that they were a very tight fit on my trailer.

If I had a do over, I would have just gone to the BAL C-jacks. I had them on my old Airstream and didn't know what rocking was until I got the scissor jacks on this camper.

I use the regular ones on our travel trailer with no problem.

Thanks for the info. Do these help much with the rocking? Any other suggestions to help stabilize the RV?

I don't find them a whole lot better than just a good set of chocks.
