Any Aerolite 212RBSL owners out there

A simple question on the TV mount. Ours is to the far right of the entertainment center wall. As a result the fully articulated mount has almost no movement available. It's close to impossible to see the TV from anywhere in the dinette except the excteeme outside. I will probably get an extended arm bracket which will aliviate the problem since Dutchment is unwilling to conceed it as a problem. I was wondering where the wall mount is located on other 212RBSL's. This can't be normal since it make even getting to the outlets (12v and 120v) nearly impossible.

Realize this is a small item but did not appreciate how the Dutchemn rep blew it off.

Most mounts have adjustment screws that will loosen the mechanism and allow further articulation. Is your mount fully extending?

It's a single arm mount. If you look at the floor plan for the 2012 model, you can see where the TV is and how it's situated near the dinette. So the placement of the mount very near the right side wall does not allow the TV to be extended forward or even turned to the right. If fact, it has almost no useable movement because of the proximity to the right side wall. Simple fix would be to move mount to the left and the mount would have full movement. Dealer says not possible to move on that particular wall, I guess there may be something in the wall that can't be moved for a mounting board to be intalled. My second choice is to have a double extended arm mount placed in the same spot. Not perfect but will be able to move TV away and have some articulation. Again, to me this was Dutchmen just not paying attention to what they were doing. My gripe is they simply say 'well that's where it is'. I have no problem either moving myself or adding a new mount. However, I'm dissapointed with the response from Dutchmen over such a small issue.

Re: Any Aerolite 212RBSL owners out there

We just received our new 2013 212RBSL last week and our TV has the mount left of the center of the TV so it retracts very nicely from the wall. We were very impressed with the quality of this TV and the signal it gets! Received many more stations than I anticipated.
2 problems we experienced were the air conditioner not working and a small water leak behind the toilet so off to a local dealer for warranty work this Monday.

I know its not the same trailer but ours has no mount what so ever. It's screwed right to the wall. I need to look into getting one.

Re: Any Aerolite 212RBSL owners out there

I ended up replacing mount with a fully articulated double arm mount. Had some hurdles to overcome since there was nothing behind the wall beyond a small area where the original mount was located. I will upload pics and descriptions in case anyone else needs to attempt the same thing. Now, the TV can be pulled almost fully out of the wall and faced into the dinette. Very happy with the full articulation and even provide a bit closer viewing when in the bed since it now extends to the furthest edge of the lower cabinet.

Looks like my calls to Dutchemtn at least changed where they were putting the mounts, although I've seen them both ways recently on new units. We also had the same toilet leak, fixed easy. Next thing to watch for is the outdoor marine radiao stopping. seems the wiring gets loose after first couple of trips. Have had good results with the few things we've brought in for warranty work. We're a bit different in that we camp more Sept - May and not so much in the summer so we haven't been anywhere since June. Hopefully won't find any more issues this fall since my 12 months will run out at the end of January.
