Any 288bhsl owners?

We are looking at a 288bhsl and noticed there is a soft channel in the viny flooring that runs side to side in front of the fire place. I called Dutchmen and spoke to service dept and they said in the schematics they see there is a electrical conduit in that area that runs side to side. Would something like that make the vinyl flooring soft along a straight line ? This is a 2018 and it doesn’t feel spongey like wet rotted floor boards.

Any ideas?
