Aerolite 298RESL

This 2017 aerolite 298ersl is the worst unit ever day 1 water lines not hooked up in wall as we found out when set up and turned city water on sprayed all over in unit.
Passenger side slide out dropped 2 inches when opened and I can stick paper from inside to outside
Replaced heated circuit at $ 199 each time 5 times
Hot water heater fought on fire. Rear exterior wall has large bubbles. Shower leaks and ruined floor in bath and bedroom.
To many other complaints to list

See if your state has an Rv lemon law! I know it’s too late but I/we strongly recommend pre delivery check lists.

We went thru the pre delivery all seemed ok. They did not have water hooked up just power

Yes and the dealership nor dutchman/keystone/Thor will do nothing
I am trying to get a Attorney to press it
Already have my Congress woman on it also

Local Newspapers have power!

I tried multiple sources to get my new Dutchmen Kodiak Cub fixed. In the end, a local newspaper reporter who specializes in unresolved customer complaints got results from the dealer in 24 hours.

The dealer still had a new 2017 on the lot? I bet if you check with your secretary of state/licensing bureau you will find it had been sold before and returned. So it's a 3 year old used trailer with issues they couldn't or wouldn't fix. That's probably why the manufacturer won't do anything.

@OP, how long did you have it before you became aware of the issues? Assume you just purchased it?

I think ours is a 2016. Every year the slider breaks and we have to get it fixed. Our extended warranty expires in September. Our camper goes back in the shop Monday. We constantly have heater issues. Our 1st camper and it has been the worst experience. I have no idea what we can do to keep the slider from breaking. They installed rollers, larger motor and nothing seems to work for more then a few months.
