When it is stated that a trailer is, for example 18'6", is that including the hitch or just the box of the trailer?

My 240 is 24 feet without the hitch and back bumper, we're 27'7" overall.

Mine is a 276bhsl. But its 33' from bumper to bumper. It only measures 27'6" is from the back of the box to where the radius on the cap begins.

As stupid as it sounds, measure or ask the dealer to. Aerolite listed the 282DBHS as 28 feet on their brochure. It was 32 total (box was 28) and I never bothered to check. They updated the literature two months after I bought mine.

My 814RB model is referring to the outside dimensions of the box of the trailer (8ft wide and 14ft long), so mine is an easy one.
